What ages do you coach?

We provide regular coaching to children and young people between the ages of 8 and 14. We can provide bespoke coaching to younger or older aged children and young people.

Do you coach boys and girls?

Yes, we are very keen to involve boys and girls in learning to skateboard.

Do you provide equipment?

Yes, we provide helmets, wrist guards, knee pads and boards.

Where do you coach?

We are launching the programme in Windsor, Berkshire, in October 2020. We will be rolling out the programme in other towns and cities from 2021. Please contact us if you are interested in us delivering our programme near to you.

When do you deliver your programme?

Week long skateboard courses: Half day morning sessions Monday to Friday during the school holidays.  

Saturday School for Beginners: Half day morning sessions Saturday and Sunday during term time and school holidays . 

How much does it cost?

We are hoping to be able to provide the coaching for free - we just need to raise money!

What health and safety procedures are in place?

All coaches are trained, vetted, DBS checked and covered by our Public Liability Insurance. All participants are provided with a board, helmet , knee pads and wrist guards. At least one coach on site is First Aid trained. A coach will always carry out safety checks on equipment, ramps and the park/site before each session.

The Skateboarding Foundation helps young people to develop their skills and abilities to enable them to fulfil their potential and participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
